Chiaki4deck for Steam Deck vs. PlayStation Portal

With Sony releasing the PlayStation Portal to allow people to use their PS5 remotely within their house, it has been extremely hard to find. Most of the darn scalpers have gobbled up all the inventory and are selling it for twice the price, which is ridiculous! While the PS Portal is a nice-looking remote play handheld, it’s not as good as the Steam Deck with Chiaki4deck. Chiaki4deck allows you to play the PS5 away from your PS5, but it also allows you to play the PS5 from outside your house. As long as you’re on good Wi-Fi, you will be able to use your PS5 remotely—something the PlayStation Portal is unable to do as it only allows you to connect from the same network within your house. UPDATE: It appears that the Portal can connect from outside your PS5 network. I finally acquired one and managed to connect even using 5G. While it wasn’t playable, the connection was still successful.
